Aly started with ColossoVision as a Freelance camera operator and production assistant back in 2009.
When we met Aly for the first time at the Nakusp Music Festival she volunteered her time as a camera operator and stuck around to help us with other elements of our production. All of us at ColossoVision were so impressed it didn’t take long for us to ask her to work on some shows with us.
Over the three years at ColossoVision , Aly has gained the experience to install mobile and modular screens, assist in the installation of production resources, and maintain our technologies. Although she loves the production side of the industry, she has been invaluable in a technical support capacity.
In September of 2011 Aly will be attending the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology where she’ll be studying Broadcast Technology. We are excited for her as she will do very well in College and upon completion of the course we are hoping she’ll be back on board full time.
Aly’s other accomplishments include working with the I.A.T.S.E. international on many films and productions. She has also produced her own short feature, which will be screened in the near future.
